foozer tour - quite a rock show

Sep 8th, 2005 by dave | 0

tonight, i saw weezer and the foo fighters in concert. i’ve never been a huge fan of weezer, and just figured i could make it through their set by watching some of my best friends have the time of their lives (since the company i was with LOVES weezer). that worked pretty well, except that a blasted good rock show stole my attention away from them and put it on the stage. i will never again say anything negative about weezer - they rocked the house.

as for the foos… they could’ve done with a few less f bombs, but they delivered the rock in a major way. from the get go, they lived up the their reputation of rocking the audiences face off. google concert reviews from this tour and you’ll see what i’m talking about… good stuff all the way around.

highlights:
- seeing dave grohl play drums
- everlong (acoustic)
- island in the sun (acoustic from the back of the auditorium)
- seeing my friends having the time of their lives
