jamaica mission trip coming up
man, it’s almost impossible to find seats for 30 traveling in march, so if you too are in the market for that man seats on a flight during the spring break travel season, you better get on it. regardless, i’m sure we’ll end up finding something (of course we might end up going through nyc!). we’ll get to do a lot of good when we get there… that’s for sure.
katrina folks are still in need, but down there, i know of people that are still in terrible situations from ivan LAST year. there is no american red cross in jamaica, or decent insurance (unless you are one of the few that are ‘well off’) so i would encourage you to seek out opportunities to help those in need throughout the caribbean.
it’s a real drag that i can’t up and go down there now. i can’t wait to get back down there. just spoke with some of my friends a few days ago…
