jamaica plans
i am very, very blessed to have the opportunity to serve often in Jamaica. this year has been an exceptionally awesome one, as i’l be travelling back down soon. plans are underway for both groups and things are going as well as you can expect - “flexibility” is both a running joke and an absolute must. had a few surprises yesterday on one of my many calls to the island… but everything is cool.
my buddy jeremy is a HUGE example for me and i’m thankful to call him my friend. i’m learning a great deal from him - like i did last year from both him and megan - especially when it comes to preparation.
here’s a verse we memorized for last night - it hit me bigtime:
Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible… To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. - I Cor. 9:19, 22-23
